After lunch today the students visited the CCEL the English language school attached to the University of Canterbury for a trial lesson. They had a great time!
※今日は、SCCから歩いて直ぐのところにあるCCELという語学学校の見学に行きました。当然のことですが、カンタベリー大学の敷地内にあり、外国から同大学に留学をするためには英語力が当然必要ですので、英語力が足りない場合は、ここで英語力をつけることになります。参加者には良い体験ができたようです。
※ここ数年連続で、本SCCセミナーに参加した学生がこの語学学校に1年間の留学をしています。今年ももうすぐ出発をします。興味があれば国際交流センターに気軽に相談してください。
The SWU students got to see what it would be like in a typical CCEL classroom.

Some of the EAP (English for Academic Purposes, studnets who are studying to enter the UC in the future) came and had conversations with the SWU studnets. Good practice for everyone!

We even got to see Ikumi during her after school self study and research lesson in the CCEL library.
※卒業旅行で来ている本学の学生にも再会しました。場所は図書館だそうです。
It's only her 4th day and she's make a friend on campus!
