Due to a change in the schedule, we had some extra time today for some extra sightseeing! One group went with Geoff-sensei to punt on the river the other group went up the gondola with me to enjoy the view
今日も快晴！スケジュールが少し変更になったため、観光する時間ができました。川下りをするGeoff先生のグループとゴンドラに乗るDavidグループに分かれて、出発です。
Heading up was an experience in itself! 高く昇るだけでも、よい経験です。
We watched as the morning fog dissipated across the Canterbury Plain. You really can’t get a more beautiful view with the snow-capped peaks in the distance. 朝ですが、霧がカンタベリー平野を覆っているのが見えます。うっすら見える遠くの山には雪が積もっています。
帰りは歩きで。思っていたより早く着きました。
After lunch some of the UC students who will join us at SWU later next month. They helped our students make their presentations and practice their lines for the final presentations tomorrow.
昼食後、来月に園田学園を訪問してくれるカンタベリー大学の学生達が寮まで来てくれました。園田の学生は明日は研修の成果の報告会がありますが、英語のいいまわしを教えてくれたり、準備を手伝ってくれました。
Then we had a small group talk. Our students received some flags from the Crusaders, the local rugby team. Thank you Nikki Sensei and thank you to the students for your time and kind help for our students.
それから小さなグループに分かれて話をしました。本学の学生は地元のラグビーチームのCrusadersの旗をもらいました。
After seeing some of the PowerPoints the studnets have made, I am really looking forward to the presentations. 明日の報告会の資料の出来具合を見ていると、明日の報告会がとても楽しみになりました。
