First the presentations, we had 5 groups divided by their field of study.

Only a few weeks here in New Zealand, but the studnets were able to put together presentations that proved to Geoff-sensei, Nicola-sensei and myself that they had learned new things and processed that information. I was quite surprised by some of the insights they had and how well many of the studnets pronounced their English.

Second on the menu today, a visit to Henk-sensei's lesson.

The students were learning about potential verbs (可能形)
※can（これは助動詞）, be able to（これは慣用句）等を使う英語をならったのかな？verbやから動詞には間違いないようですが．．．。
They practiced by asking questions to our studnets. "Can you play the piano?" "Can you ride a unicycle?"
※矢張り、そうですね。
Finally, we had the pleasure of visiting Geoff-sensei and Helen-sensei's home for dinner.
※既に二人のブログでもアップしたとおり、本学で英語を教えてくれているジェフ先生宅を訪問しました。夏季SCCセミナーの学生もお邪魔しました。1年前の春季SCCセミナーの学生も。
Helen-sensei and I were so amazed by how everyone lined their shoes up so nicely. Can you tell which shoes are mine?
※流石に各家庭での躾が行き届いています。Davidの靴？よう分かれへんけど、茶色の靴？それともコンセントの近くにあるスリッパ？
