It was presentation day!
今日は最後の研修の成果発表会です！
Each group did an amazing job. They tried there best and they spoke in loud, clear voices.
どのグループもすばらしい発表ができました。大きな声ではっきり発表していましたし。
We had four judges today: Geoff, Helen, Janice and Nicola.
今日の審査員はＭｏｏｒｅご夫妻、Ｊａｎｉｃｅ先生、ニコラ先生です。

After the work is done it's time for Willowbank, a local zoo filled with New Zealand and Australian animals.
報告会終了後は、Willowbankというニュージーランドとオーストラリアの動物がいる
地元の動物園に行きました。
We all fed the eels.
皆うなぎにえさをやりました。

There is also the star of the show... the kiwi room...
It's very dark in the room to simulate the nighttime as kiwis are nocturnal animals. We were extremely lucky today as the kiwis were out and walking close to the fences. I have never been able to get photos like this in my previous visits here. Of course, using flashes is not allowed.
この動物園のスター、ＮＺの国鳥のキウイもいました。
キウイは夜行性なので、とても暗い部屋の中にいます。
今日は珍しくキウイが歩き回ったり、フェンス近くまで来てくれたりして、とてもラッキーでした。
これまで何回も来ましたが、このような写真をとれたのはこれが初めてです。
もちろんフラッシュは禁止。
After the kiwis the group I was walking with saw the NZ farm animals.
キウイのあとは、ＮＺの農場にいる動物です。
A gentle Clydesdale horse.やさしいクライデスデールという種類の馬です。
A goat やぎ
Alpacas アルパカ
And of course sheep. Here the babies are just born. You can tell by their umbilical cords still hanging from the bellies.
そして、もちろん羊ですね。この赤ちゃんは生まれたばかり。まだお母さんとへその緒がつながったままのようです。
What a great day. Thanks to the JSOC friends who joined us today for the presentations and the Willowbank visit. All the hard work is done and from here it's all fun!
ＵＣの日本語学科の学生の皆さん、プレゼンと動物園見学に参加してくれて、ありがとうございました。今回の研修のすべてのスケジュールは修了したので、あとは楽しむだけですね！
