2月26日 幼稚園訪問、NZ調理実習、Diamond Harbour

申し訳ありませんが、ブロガーはニュージーランドに移動中のため、コメントはありません。

Last day here before the second group arrives and we had a great one.

First thing in the morning our two education studnets visited a kindergarten/child care centre run by the University of Canterbury.

The nutrition studnets got to learn how to make a roast with Cathrine-sensei back at the dorms.

Lots of yummy vegetables including parsnips. They look like a white carrot but taste a little more starchy.

Everything gets put in the oven.

Giving everything a quick mix

Soon it was time for lunch!

We were lucky to have Cathrine-sensei's two daughters join us for a fun morning cooking! Thank you!

After lunch it was time to go to Diamond Harbour and do a very kiwi thing....

...jumping from the pier!

As you can tell we all had a great time and some great weather to match it!

We are looking forward to welcoming the second group to Christchurch tomorrow morning.
